Lou Martin is a proud Wiradjuri woman and emerging artist. She uses a contemporary approach to traditional dot painting, coupled with her passion for colour, to bring her stories to life.

“The painting, ‘Bloom Wildly’, is a reminder to us all to own our space without feeling compelled to make ourselves small in order to accommodate others.

The three circles represent the past, present and future, with the focus being on the here and now, without the heaviness of yesterday nor the worry of tomorrow. The mountains are indicative of the challenges we all face yet overcome.
